They soon located a homeless man and woman underneath the Adams bridge trapped by fast moving water after heavy rain fell most of the night across Southern California.
Read MoreAt 10:13 pm Sunday night a house fire was reported in Fountain Valley. The fire department responded to find a fully involved single family house. A second alarm was dispatched. I live only about a mile away so I grabbed my camera and headed over to the 10200 block of Oriole Ave. The flames could be seen for miles as I approached. Fountain Valley, Huntington Beach, Costa Mesa and Garden Grove fire departments responded. It was a "stubborn fire" according to fire fighters; they were on scene for about 6 hours.
